State Authorization Statements 


  • Drexel University is in compliance with the Maryland Higher Education Commission.


  • If you are a resident of Minnesota and you are enrolled in a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts program, please be advised that you need to satisfy a minimum of 45 quarter credits distributed across at least the following four areas: Communication, Natural Sciences/Mathematics, Humanities and Social Science. The remaining general education credits should be chosen from one or more of these four categories. If you have any questions about these requirements or about course electives, please contact your advisor.


  • Drexel University is authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree-Granting Institutions Act. This authorization is subject to periodic review and authorizes Drexel University to offer field placement components for specific degree programs. The Council may be contacted for a list of currently authorized programs. Authorization by the council does not carry with it an endorsement by the council of the institution or its programs.
