About Dr. William Lynch
Dr. William F. Lynch has been Director of Drexel University's School of Education since July 2004. Since his arrival, Dr. Lynch has launched a new master’s degree program in higher education, an innovative bachelor’s and master’s dual degree program, and the Drexel iPods in Education Initiative. In addition, the School of Education is ranked among America’s Best Graduate Schools for the first time in the 2006 edition of the U.S. News & World Report annual rankings.
A pioneer in online learning, Dr. Lynch was the first Executive Director of the Center for Distance and Mediated Learning at George Washington where he provided leadership for their distance learning initiatives. He received the United States Distance Learning Association’s “Most Outstanding Achievement in Distance Learning” award in recognition of the quality and success of the educational technology leadership masters program he created at George Washington which was the first masters program in educational technology in the United States delivered internationally via distance learning.
Dr. Lynch received his Ph.D. in education from the University of Maryland-College Park, his master’s degree in religion from the University of Iowa, and his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.

About Dr. Kenneth Hartman
Dr. Kenneth Hartman is an internationally renowned educator, having served the past 25-years as an associate professor (instructional technology), academic administrator, and consultant at several leading universities, including The University of Pennsylvania, The University of Delaware, New York Institute of Technology, and Widener University. He is the author of numerous publications related to educational technology (books, articles, CD-ROMs), and formerly a syndicated newspaper columnist, television talk show host, and commissioned military officer. Dr. Hartman was the founder and executive director of the National Technology Institute for School Counselors. He can be seen on NBC10 (Philadelphia), as the station’s on-air technology contributor.
Dr. Hartman holds an undergraduate degree from The State University of New York at Geneseo, a master's degree from Michigan State University, and a doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
