DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST 

Department: Marketing
 

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in executing the recruitment strategy for all Drexel Online portfolios. S/He will work both independently and cross-functionally with the Media Manager and Strategic Marketing Managers on media execution and evaluation.

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of media buying, including media research, contract negotiation, creative deadlines, and ad trafficking. The position is a great learning experience for the Specialist who will work in a dynamic, team environment in a rewarding industry, with the ability to test a variety of cutting-edge media.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop media research strategy for each Drexel Online portfolio using key target market demographics and psychographics as provided by Strategic Marketing Managers
  • Research general and targeted media outlets to support each school/portfolio
  • Media planning and buying: placement of conversion-driven direct-to-consumer marketing with an emphasis on online marketing (solo emails, banners, eNewsletters, etc.) as well as traditional direct response media, such as print, direct mail, etc.
  • Work with external vendors to negotiate and purchase media in the agreed-upon media plan by portfolio
  • Traffic and evaluate online media buys through Drexel’s ad tracking software
  • Assist media manager with campaign testing and analysis
  • Other assigned projects as necessary

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other related field of study
  • 3+ years of experience in media buying, marketing, advertising, or related field
  • Experience with marketing performance reporting and data analytics software preferred
  • Experience with ad serving and tracking software preferred
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Excellent capabilities with Excel
  • Must be deadline-focused
  • Must be motivated and proactive problem-solver
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

ENROLLMENT COUNSELOR 

Department: Enrollment Services
 

Drexel University Online is seeking a motivated Enrollment Counselor to assist the Enrollment Services Department in responding to inquiries about Drexel Online programs. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with a diverse population of leads and applicants, and will be highly motivated to support departmental and company goals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Handling a high-volume of inbound and outbound calls from/to a constantly growing pool of prospective students.
  • Responding to emails from prospective students who are requesting further information about the online programs offered by Drexel University.
  • Setting and holding individual appointments with prospective students to provide a detailed breakdown of the features and benefits of Drexel University Online.
  • Providing prompt follow-up and problem resolution as needed.
  • Recording and entering prospect data accurately in all databases.
  • Delivering superior customer service to prospective students to support the overall goals of the department and company.

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Preference given to candidates with higher education or sales experience
  • Technical skills including proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Office, Leads 360 and Salesforce are preferred
  • Superior oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a high-performing team
  • Previous military expereince preferred

Human Resources Business Partner 

Department: Human Resources
 

The role of the Human Resources Business Partner must parallel the needs of our organization. The Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic partner within the organization, an employee sponsor or advocate and a change mentor. Responsible for recruiting, employee benefits administration and employee paperwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Create company strategic recruitment and selection plan.
  • Coordinate company equal opportunity programs to achieve diversity goals.
  • Create company strategic training and organizational development plan to meet personal, professional, and organizational needs of company employees.
  • Oversee compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salary levels.
  • Direct the administration of benefit programs to include: health, retirement, death, disability, and unemployment.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefit programs.
  • Develop and coordinate grievances and mediate workplace disputes.
  • Evaluate procedures and technology solutions to improve human resources data management.
  • Recommend and maintain an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives.
  • Performance evaluation coordination and analysis.
  • Co-ordination and management of workers compensation.
  • Answering staff queries regarding payroll and human resources matters.
  • Preparation of employee contracts and letters of offer/rejection.
  • Create job descriptions as necessary.
  • Evaluate company culture and provide recommendations on changes to accomplish company goals and objectives.
  • Recommend and establish company policies and procedures.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field required.
  • 5-7 years’ experience.
  • Employee Relations experience required.
  • Organizational development experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles and practices, policies and procedures.

Trade Show and Events Coordinator 

Department: Business Development and Marketing
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Work with Business Development and Marketing teams to plan and execute events and trade shows relevant to key vertical markets
  • Manage company-wide event schedule including webinars, vertical market events and trade shows
  • Work with conference/event planning team to coordinate logistics and deliverables for trade shows/events
  • Work with vendors to coordinate proposals and event logistics
  • Research sponsorship and advertising opportunities within key trade organizations
  • Assist in creation and send of pre-show and post show as well as event communication
  • Maintain show schedules, project checklist and processes through exhibit management templates

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • One to two years (1 to 2 years) of trade show or event experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
