Communications Manager II (Content marketing focused) 

Drexel University Online is aggressively expanding its national reach and influence and is seeking a talented and professional communications expert to propel these efforts even further. The Communications Manager will help to create a Drexel University Online community by creating and sharing content through traditional and digital communications efforts.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications, your overall objective will be to position Drexel University Online as a reputable institution and a thought-leader across various communications channels through content marketing and storytelling. As a key member of the Strategic Communications team, you will work with various Drexel Online departments and individual college marketing and communications contacts across campus to accomplish outreach and branding goals and objectives.

Responsibilities: 

  • Creating compelling communications content, including, but not limited to, FAQs, blog posts, newsletters, advertorials, radio scripts, etc.
  • Developing print, web, email, direct mail and channel marketing advertising and collateral
  • Researching higher education and online education news and trends
  • Assisting in the creation of editorial content calendars and researching content opportunities

Director/Senior Director: Prospective Student Advising 

Drexel University Online (DUO) is seeking a Director of Prospective Student Advising for its Philadelphia based operations, to join an innovative team dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to potential students interested in attending a comprehensive global research university ranked among the top 100 in the nation. The Director will work with the Vice President of Operations and senior managers at DUO to develop, plan, implement and evaluate a student-centric, strategic recruitment plan that achieves enrollment goals and student success measures.

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with senior leadership to determine inquiry volume, conversion rates, service levels and satisfaction metrics to ensure the development of a sustainable business model focused on new student growth and retention;
  • Identify and operationalize a continuous business process enhancement approach to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of work streams related to the improved conversion of prospective students to applicants;

Enrollment Counselor

As part of a high functioning team, the Enrollment Counselor serves as the first point of contact with prospective students. Their primary function is to guide prospective students through each step of the enrollment management process, from lead to applicant to enrolled student. The Enrollment Counselor is responsible for creating positive experiences for prospects by building a relationship with them, answering their questions, and guiding them through the decision to enroll with Drexel University Online. Enrollment Counselors are student- centered and driven by the need to help other’s achieve their educational goals.

Regional Account Associate

Director/Senior Director of Business Development 

The Director/Senior Director of Business Development is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the Business Development team. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Branding, the Senior Business Development Director will assist in strategically creating, implementing and overseeing organizational policies by performing the functions outlined below. The Senior Director of Business Development is ultimately responsible for building an in-house team that will be tasked with meeting and exceeding our pre-determined enrollment targets.

Responsibilities: 

  • Works with the other members of the management team to develop strategic direction for the Business Development department.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales and relationship management plan for the Business Development team.
