Business Development Associate 

Department: Business Development
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage Drexel eLearning’s health system, corporate, education and association partnerships with employee/member populations of 1,000 to 15,000+
  • Execute recruitment activities assigned by management to increase enrollments brought to Drexel University
  • Identify marketing opportunities internally within partner accounts to support enrollment growth
  • Interface with key stakeholders within assigned partners to increase access levels within assigned accounts
  • Deliver sales presentations to decision makers as well as employees within assigned customer base.
  • Coordinate visits and marketing activity to assigned partners monthly.
  • Build and maintain external client relationships.
  • Attend annual meetings, trade shows, conferences and on-site client visits to increase brand awareness within partner accounts.
  • Uncover and identify new business opportunities for partner educational initiatives.
  • Work with management to develop enrollment forecasts quarterly for assigned partner accounts.

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Communications
  • 1 to 2 years of sales/account management experience, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a face past environment
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time within the continental U.S.
  • Experience in education a plus

Enrollment Counselor 

Department: Enrollment Services
 

Drexel University Online is seeking a motivated Enrollment Counselor to assist the Enrollment Services Department in responding to inquiries about Drexel Online programs. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with a diverse population of leads and applicants, and will be highly motivated to support departmental and company goals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Handling a high-volume of inbound and outbound calls from/to a constantly growing pool of prospective students.
  • Responding to emails from prospective students who are requesting further information about the online programs offered by Drexel University.
  • Setting and holding individual appointments with prospective students to provide a detailed breakdown of the features and benefits of Drexel University Online.
  • Providing prompt follow-up and problem resolution as needed.
  • Recording and entering prospect data accurately in all databases.
  • Delivering superior customer service to prospective students to support the overall goals of the department and company.

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Preference given to candidates with higher education or sales experience
  • Technical skills including proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Office, Leads 360 and Salesforce are preferred
  • Superior oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a high-performing team

Manager of Military and Veteran Outreach 

Drexel University Online is seeking a motivated Manager of Military and Veteran Outreach Military to lead a small team to create and execute Drexel University Online's military veteran recruitment strategy. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with a diverse population of leads and applicants, and will be highly motivated to support departmental and company goals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Interface with key leadership to develop and execute enrollment cultivation strategies for military friendly companies and veteran organizations
  • Deliver presentations to prospective students as well as key contacts within government agencies and military branches in compliance with the University's DOD MOU
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop recruitment and promotional strategies to support enrollment growth of veterans
  • Conduct monthly recruitment events including faculty presentations, promotions, comprehensive marketing plans, etc.
  • Attend annual meetings, trade shows, conferences and on-site visits to increase brand awareness within the military and veteran agencies
  • Create and implement new business opportunities to increase enrollment generation
  • Develop monthly enrollment metrics and forecasts for military and veteran recruitment efforts
  • Take an active role in the Military Task Force Committee and bi-weekly teleconferences
  • Act as the Drexel University Online liaison with the University's Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Veteran committee
  • Collaborate with the Military Enrollment Counselor to ensure prospective student needs are met

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Communications
  • 10 years of military student advising and recruitment experience required

Media Manager 

The Media Manager will design, implement and optimize online and offline media campaigns focused on delivering the right message to the right student while generating efficient new student acquisition for Drexel University Online. S/He will support the marketing needs of our schools while developing and maintaining an overarching strategy for traditional marketing, email marketing, display advertising, SEM, and SEO.

Playing a strategic role, h/she will support our various business units (schools) while managing internal marketing resources to launch successful media campaigns. The Media Manager will be responsible for selecting and negotiating new agencies as well as managing all agency relationships. S/He will use data and analytics to identify new areas of opportunity to deploy new campaigns and/or modify existing tactics to optimize performance.

The Media Manager will be responsible for building media plans, executing/trafficking, optimizing and reporting on performance. In addition, the Media Manager’s responsibilities will include the following:

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a highly optimized and scalable SEM strategy built on the latest optimization strategies
  • Deploy effective and high performing paid search campaigns on top tier search engines
  • Develop SEO strategy and ensure that website meets SEO standards, while being optimized for maximum organic traffic
  • Deploy SEO strategies aimed at building quality scores and rankings with all major search engines
  • Manage multiple display advertising networks (text-based and banner ads)
  • Manage the execution of email acquisition marketing
  • Build robust segmentation and tracking strategies for all email communication
  • Identify and manage all online display advertising media buys
  • Develop and lead strategy for behavioral and retargeting efforts
  • Work with our Creative Services Team to develop highly compelling and dynamic copy, ads, banners and email treatments
  • Develop sound data tracking standards and report regularly on performance
  • Work with our IT, Creative Services, & Web Teams to perform A/B and multivariate testing of landing pages
  • Manage multiple agency relationships across traditional, search, email, display advertising and networks
  • Operate as a subject matter expert with all media buying
  • Manage Drexel University co-op who will assist with media buying

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with concentration on marketing or other related specialization; work experience will also be considered
  • 5 years of experience within online advertising roles including: SEM, SEO, Email and/or Display Advertising
  • Experience with bid management and web analytics tools
  • Ad serving platform experience is preferred
  • Solid understanding of campaign tracking and sound testing methodology
  • Customer segmentation-driven site/geo/keyword selection
  • Understanding of the relationship between offline, traditional and brand advertising and direct response channels
  • Education industry experience is preferred

Strategic Marketing Manager 

The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful promotion of schools and programs by providing sound, innovating, strategic leadership and initiatives to recruit students. This includes developing the strategy/roadmap for each school, prioritization of programs to achieve Drexel University Online business objectives, annual budgets/monthly forecasts, managing overall advertising strategy, managing the messaging and creative strategy, as well as orchestrating customer and competitive landscape research and analysis.

The Strategic Marketing manager will be the advocate for their programs, and have deep understanding of all activates within their business units (schools). S/He will act as a liaison between the schools/clients and the internal marketing team and be responsible and accountable for the performance of his/her school programs.

Responsibilities: 

  • Build and optimize annual marketing strategy, budgets and campaign plans (overall business roadmap)
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day marketing performance of each school to ensure favorable performance
  • Dynamically manage advertising spend across multiple marketing channels to maximize ROI
  • Build monthly marketing plans based on prior month and trending performance and allocate marketing spend
  • Direct new program launches
  • Work closely with all Drexel University Online and Drexel University departments to represent schools
  • Communicate a thorough knowledge of program information, marketing initiatives, market research, and future challenges
  • Direct the development of strategic marketing plans for schools and develop robust reporting dashboards to manage performance
  • Perform school/program/industry analysis with a deep understanding of student demographic and psychographic information
  • Define new program needs and work with schools to integrate
  • Manage IT and operating projects specific to his/her business

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree in business with concentration on marketing or other related specialization. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience within a variety of marketing roles
  • Project management experience
  • Education industry experience preferred
  • Strong skills in research, analytics and report building
  • Must be able to analyze data and identify key trends and performance drivers/inhibitors
  • Understanding of integrated marketing; how various offline/online and brand/direct response channels work together
  • Strong brand messaging and creative experience
