DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST 

Department: Marketing
 

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in executing the recruitment strategy for all Drexel Online portfolios. S/He will work both independently and cross-functionally with the Media Manager and Strategic Marketing Managers on media execution and evaluation.

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of media buying, including media research, contract negotiation, creative deadlines, and ad trafficking. The position is a great learning experience for the Specialist who will work in a dynamic, team environment in a rewarding industry, with the ability to test a variety of cutting-edge media.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop media research strategy for each Drexel Online portfolio using key target market demographics and psychographics as provided by Strategic Marketing Managers
  • Research general and targeted media outlets to support each school/portfolio
  • Media planning and buying: placement of conversion-driven direct-to-consumer marketing with an emphasis on online marketing (solo emails, banners, eNewsletters, etc.) as well as traditional direct response media, such as print, direct mail, etc.
  • Work with external vendors to negotiate and purchase media in the agreed-upon media plan by portfolio
  • Traffic and evaluate online media buys through Drexel’s ad tracking software
  • Assist media manager with campaign testing and analysis
  • Other assigned projects as necessary

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other related field of study
  • 3+ years of experience in media buying, marketing, advertising, or related field
  • Experience with marketing performance reporting and data analytics software preferred
  • Experience with ad serving and tracking software preferred
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Excellent capabilities with Excel
  • Must be deadline-focused
  • Must be motivated and proactive problem-solver
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

ENROLLMENT COUNSELOR 

Department: Enrollment Services
 

Drexel University Online is seeking a motivated Enrollment Counselor to assist the Enrollment Services Department in responding to inquiries about Drexel Online programs. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with a diverse population of leads and applicants, and will be highly motivated to support departmental and company goals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Handling a high-volume of inbound and outbound calls from/to a constantly growing pool of prospective students.
  • Responding to emails from prospective students who are requesting further information about the online programs offered by Drexel University.
  • Setting and holding individual appointments with prospective students to provide a detailed breakdown of the features and benefits of Drexel University Online.
  • Providing prompt follow-up and problem resolution as needed.
  • Recording and entering prospect data accurately in all databases.
  • Delivering superior customer service to prospective students to support the overall goals of the department and company.

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Preference given to candidates with higher education or sales experience
  • Technical skills including proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Office, Leads 360 and Salesforce are preferred
  • Superior oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a high-performing team

MARKETING RESEARCH SPECIALIST 

Department: Marketing
 

The Market Research Specialist will execute primary and secondary market research projects, both qualitative and quantitative, and provide insights to the Strategy team, the Media team, and senior management. The Analyst will collect and interpret data on current and prospective students, the online higher education industry, and the various industries in which Drexel University offers online degrees. The research findings will help develop, position and launch new programs, grow enrollment in existing programs and strengthen the Drexel Online brand. This full-time position works under the supervision of the Media Manager, and works cross-functionally with the Strategy team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Design, develop, execute, analyze and present findings from primary and secondary market research projects
  • Regular monitoring of industry trends – both the online higher education industry as well as the industries in which Drexel University offers online programs
  • Regular monitoring of universities/colleges in key competitor set and reporting of trends/findings
  • Provide quality reports and relevant insight to the Strategy team for their assigned portfolios
  • Provide reports and recommendations to Senior management on their requested research projects that will help prepare them to make sound decisions
  • Work with external third parties in designing, developing and executing market research projects
  • Serve as an internal resource for clients (colleges) on online higher education industry
  • Other assigned projects as necessary

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other related field of study
  • 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, executing and reporting research projects (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Ability to take a business problem and identify a primary market research solution.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

MARKETING SPECIALIST - STRATEGY TRACK

The Marketing Specialist will support the Strategic Marketing Managers in setting the program management and recruitment strategy for their assigned portfolios. S/He will work both independently and cross-functionally, with the Strategic Marketing Managers, Media and Market Research team, Web and Analytics team and Creative Services team on strategy execution and evaluation.

The Marketing Specialist will assist with a wide variety of initiatives including market and competitor research, creative requests, budgeting, research and trafficking new placements, performance reporting, and campaign trends and analysis. This is a great opportunity to develop your marketing and professional skills in an environment that provides exposure to a variety of industries, projects, and marketing tactics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Work with Strategic Marketing Managers to manage the implementation and execution of recruitment strategies to meet application and enrollment targets for assigned portfolios
  • Work with Media team on execution and trafficking of planned strategy and reactive advertising needs for assigned portfolios
  • Submit and manage creative requests to the Creative Services team from request to implementation.
  • Maintain program budget sheets and reconcile variances with Finance/Accounting
  • Setting up, monitoring and updating campaign metrics and performance
  • Maintain updated website presence for programs within the assigned portfolios
  • Assist with research on competing programs and new program opportunities

Job Qualifications:

MARKETING TRAFFIC COORDINATOR 

Department: Marketing
 

The Marketing Traffic Coordinator will implement marketing to support Drexel University Online’s partnership program. The selected candidate will help to cultivate partners in healthcare, corporate, and education markets through innovative marketing. This individual will work closely with the Business Development team to provide materials and resources to support rep activity and outreach. This individual will also work closely with Creative Services to traffic and route creative.

The Marketing Traffic Coordinator will assist with marketing for a wide variety of initiatives such as site visits and special promotions. The position will be part of the marketing department, reporting directly to the BD Marketing & Strategy Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to develop marketing, communication, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment that provides exposure to a variety of industries, projects, and marketing tactics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Route creative (such as flyers, brochures, emails, and direct mail) in project management system.
  • Act as the liaison between business development and creative team members to create project schedule, milestones and delivery date
  • Maintain a status report for all current projects and provide ongoing communication regarding project status to internal team members
  • Collaborate with internal copywriter and graphic designers to execute marketing.
  • Maintain partner pages on the Drexel.com website.
  • Build and maintain online RSVP and registration forms.
  • Proofread and edit marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Strategy Manager to execute tactics.
  • Update marketing materials to keep information current and consistent.
  • Organize marketing files for team access.
  • Provide status reporting on marketing initiatives in progress.
  • Assist in the development of tactics to market to partners in healthcare, corporate, and education markets.
  • Update budget or tracking spreadsheets as needed.
  • Assist with contests and promotions by updating contest rules and building landing pages.
  • Work with printers and mail houses to get quotes, submit PO’s, and route creative.

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
