• Application Process

  • Congratulations on taking the first step to furthering your education. We know applying to college can be daunting, so we’ve put together this step-by-step guide letting you know what to expect during each part of the process.

Use the links to the left to learn more about how to create, obtain, and submit various types of application materials. The particular materials you’ll need to submit vary by program, so make sure to review your program’s admissions requirements before continuing.

If you have additional questions or technical difficulties, please don’t hesitate to contact one of our Admissions Representatives:

Considerations on processing and receiving materials due to coronavirus (COVID-19)
Drexel Admissions is currently processing application documents received through the U.S. Postal Service and courier services (DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.), although there is a slight delay in processing these documents. We strongly recommend you submit all official transcripts and supportive documentation digitally to applyduonline@drexel.edu. If your school is not able to send official transcripts because they do not offer an electronic request option, you may digitally send us unofficial transcripts (applies to graduate programs only; undergraduate programs must submit official transcripts upon application); however, we will require you to submit official transcripts prior to enrolling at Drexel University. We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time at Drexel and around the world. We will process all documents as soon as we receive them, but please expect some delays.

    Step 1: Submitting Your Application

    • Submit your application online. There’s no fee and it takes only 10 minutes.
    • Submit your application materials. Most programs use rolling admissions, so the sooner you complete your file the sooner you’ll receive a decision.
    • Track the status of your application materials in the Discover Drexel Portal.
    • Apply for Financial Aid as soon as possible to ensure funds are available prior to the start of the term.

    Step 2: Application Review

    Step 3: If You’re Accepted

    • Confirm your acceptance by submitting a deposit and an Intent to Enroll form.
    • You’ll then receive a Drexel email account and login information for Blackboard and other Drexel systems.
    • Check out our system requirements to ensure that you have the right technology to be successful in the online classroom.
    • Contact your academic advisor to learn about transfer credits, map out your degree plan, and register for classes.
    • Order textbooks and other class materials.

All submitted documents become the property of Drexel University.
