Established in 1919, Drexel's co-operative education program is one of the oldest, largest and most successful in the US. Drexel University is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges & Secondary Schools, which is the highest accreditation authority for colleges in Delaware , the District of Columbia , Maryland , New Jersey , New York , Pennsylvania , Puerto Rico , the US Virgin Islands and other locations overseas. In addition, Drexel programs are accredited by their respective top professional accreditation bodies including the AACSB (Business), ALA (Information Science) and NLNAC (Nursing).
