Gas cost ignites surge in online college classes - Philadelphia Inquirer - July 19, 2008
Drexel University Online was featured in the July 19th edition of the Philadelphia Inquirer.  Journalist Susan Snyder covered the rise in online enrollments due to the recent rise in gas prices.  Academic Director, Dr. Ken Hartman was featured in the article, as well as two online students.  Click here to read the article.

Online College Courses Growing in Popularity - KYW 1060 News Radio - June 27, 2008
Dr. Kenneth Hartman, academic director of Drexel University Online, was recently featured both online and on air by KYW 1060 Newsradio.  He was featured in a story about online course enrollments growing exponentially, which could be due to the rise in gas prices.  “People lead very busy lives and they don't have the time to find a place to park on a college campus, pay the gas, pay the tolls and pay the parking," Hartman says.
