Drexel Teams Up With DCCC To Help Women With Affordable Way Into Workforce

While employment numbers are improving nationwide, local jobs and career counselors say that is not true for women 40 and older. Delaware County Community College and Drexel University are partnering to offer help through a new nursing pilot program. Fox 29’s Joyce Evans introduces us to Rochelle "Shelley" Wright, a mother of two fulfilling a dream thanks to these new programs. Students are taught by DCCC and Drexel professors, in class, at hospitals and online.

Drexel LeBow Provides MBA Program at Vanguard

Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business will be providing a customized MBA program to selected employees at Vanguard, one of the world’s largest and most respected mutual fund companies. The first class includes 28 students that Vanguard selected from its Valley Forge headquarters, as well as four employees from Scottsdale, Ariz., one from Charlotte, N.C. and one from London. Instruction will be provided in-person at Drexel LeBow’s Malvern campus as well as online.
