Drexel Online. A Better U.

Online learning has exponentially grown throughout the years, and Drexel University Online is proud to be a premier leader of online education since 1996. In an effort to create greater awareness of distance learning and to recognize exceptional leaders and best practices in the field, Drexel University Online founded National Distance Learning Week (NDLW), in conjunction with the United States Distance Learning Association.

Created in 2007, NDLW seeks to celebrate the tremendous growth and accomplishments occurring today in distance learning education, while showing appreciation to those who make an indelible mark in the field and upon students.

For 2013, NDLW will take place during the week of November 11th to the 15th. In celebration of NDLW, Drexel University Online will host its seventh annual awards ceremony, honoring remarkable Drexel faculty and staff for their great accomplishments in the field of online learning.

Drexel University Online was proud to have its 2012 national honoree and keynote speaker be Karen Cator, director of the Office of Educational Technology at the U.S. Department of Education. Her passion to better education through emerging technologies has achieved many outstanding results. Prior to joining the department, Cator directed Apple's leadership and advocacy efforts in education.

Thank you for joining us in celebration as we honored Cator and our extraordinary faculty and staff on November 8, 2012.

The Drexel University Online NDLW Ceremony was streamed live.
