The Bachelor of Science in Communication degree online was developed by Drexel University's College of Arts and Sciences. It successfully prepares students for senior level Corporate Communications and Public Relations positions in any corporation or organization.
The comprehensive communications degree program (delivered fully online) begins with a common core of courses that emphasize communication theory and methods, and follows with a concentration in Corporate Communication and Public Relations.

The concentration in Corporate Communication and Public Relations covers a broad range of activities that help an organization address the communication and relationship challenges that arise when dealing with their various publics.
This field of study includes:
Skills in this field range from written, to spoken, to visual communication. A communication specialist might be called on to announce a new product, plan a national or international conference or appear on television as the spokesperson for the corporation.
The communicator will also be involved with special events, press conferences, media plans, video production, and writing and editing of the in-house newsletter.
All organizations - both profit and non-profit - need communicators. Successful men and women in this field rise to senior level management, participate in major decisions, and are an integral part of the strategic planning process. Many communication graduates also go on to graduate study in such areas as law, business (MBA), or communication.
NOTE: Students may enroll in this program on a either a full-time or part-time basis.
