Admissions Criteria
- A completed Application for Admission
Note: There is no requirement for submission of transcripts for consideration for admission to the Certificate in Retail Leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Please note that all submitted materials become the property of Drexel University.
This program consists of 19 quarter credits (4 courses).
Applicants seeking to complete the certificate only or those choosing to take one or more courses of interest, but not enroll in a Bachelor's degree program, should complete the Undergraduate Application above. Within the application, apply as a non-matriculated student and select Certificate in Retail Leadership as your program. A non-matriculated student is one who may take classes but is not enrolled in a degree program. Financial aid is not available for non-matriculated students.
You may also choose to take one or more courses or complete the Certificate program as part of an Online Drexel Bachelor's degree program. Students applying for admission to an online Bachelor's degree program must generally meet the following requirements:
- Official transcripts from regionally accredited universities or community colleges attended
- A minimum of 24 college credits with a grade of C or better
- College GPA of 2.5 or above
- International Students:
The TOEFL examination is required for some non-citizens. Applicants whose native language is English (who list themselves as born in or citizens of the following countries: American Samoa, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Botswana, British West Indies, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, England, Ghana, Guam, Ireland, Jamaica, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Trinidad/Tobago, Uganda, Virgin Islands, Wales, Zimbabwe) are exempt from the TOEFL. Applicants whose native language is not English are exempt from the TOEFL if the applicant completed 4 years of high school in the United States or completed English 101 and English 102 with a grade of C or better from a US domestic accredited institution.
