    Overview

    Travel and hospitality have become prominent national industries across the globe, requiring an increasing number of professionals at all skill levels. As hospitality expands, professionals holding graduate-level degrees will be required to fill the needs of the bourgeoning tourism industry. Total travel and tourism demand in 2014 is estimated at $9.55 trillion in economic activity, and 269.5 million people around the globe will have a job created by tourism, accounting for 1 in every 11 jobs.

    Drexel's accredited online Master’s in Hospitality Management provides students with the skills needed to advance in the hospitality industry, meeting real world challenges and becoming key decision-makers.     Admissions Criteria

    • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
    • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last two years of undergraduate work. Graduate work should have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Academic background should closely match the program's pre-requisites.  These courses can also be taken online at Drexel:

      • Introduction to Analysis I, II, and III
      • Introduction to Marketing Management
      • Organizational Behavior
      • Introduction to Casino Management (Gaming Concentration)

    Tuition

    The tuition rate for the academic year 2014-2015 is $843 per credit. (A 25% discount off Drexel's regular tuition rate of $1123 per credit)

    This rate applies only to new online matriculated students. Students receiving special tuition plans with Drexel Online may not combine them with other tuition benefits that may be available from Drexel University.

    This program is eligible for Financial Aid. We also offer tuition reduction through our network of partner companies and organizations, and for Drexel University alumni and those in the military.
