Upon enrolling in a Drexel online degree or certificate program, you are never left alone. Drexel University Online provides you with access to a large number of services an on-campus student typically receives from an academic institution:

Academic Services

• Instructors: Instructors who teach Drexel’s online degree and certificate programs are the same instructors that teach our on-campus programs. They are available to online students via email, phone, discussion threads, or in person.
• Program-specific Academic Advisors: Each Drexel program has its own academic advisor who is available to assist students throughout their educational experience. Advisors help students with course scheduling, location of internship or on-site clinical requirements, and career goals.
• Student Colleagues: Fellow classmates are also available to provide support throughout courses via email and online discussion threads.

Informational Services

• Drexel University Library : Drexel University’s award-winning W.W. Hagerty Library is at your fingertips with its online electronic resources. Students can log in from their home computer and access a vast collection of books, journals, theses, magazines, newspapers, and reference materials free of charge. Additionally, the library has specific services for distance learners .
• Drexel Writing Center :  Students are offered help with their course writing assignments through on-site and e-mail tutorials and small group workshops. Services provided by the Writing Center include e-writer , which gives students an opportunity to receive feedback on their writing projects without ever having to leave their computer. When you send a paper to e-writer, a tutor will read the paper and respond with comments and suggestions.
• Steinbright Career Development Center : The Steinbright Career Development Center is one of the most highly ranked co-op and career service organizations at any university in the country. The SCDC serves students and alumni in cooperative education and graduate placement by teaching and prioritizing effective career management skills, career advising, formal testing for those in career transition, and placement for Drexel University students and alumni. 

Technical Services

• Online Learning Tutorial: Once enrolled, Drexel offers a free tutorial designed to give you a general overview and brief introduction to the most commonly used functions and features of the online learning system.
• Live Technical Support: Live technical support is offered for the online learning management system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Administrative Support: Drexel’s Information Resources and Technology provides support for computer accounts, email, etc.

Other Services

• Student Resource Center : Drexel’s Student Resource Center provides self service options for students regarding course descriptions and schedules, registration, billing and finance issues, transcript requests, name and address changes, and more. At Drexel, students use DrexelOne - the portal that provides accessibility to check grades, apply for graduation, view financial aid packages, and print billing statements.
• Drexel Dragon Card : As an online, matriculated student at Drexel you can obtain a Drexel University student ID (called DragonCard). The DragonCard offers several benefits that include access to Drexel campus facilities, student discounts on books, computer software and hardware, travel, entertainment, and more.
