    Teaching Certificate Reciprocity & Transfer


    Convert the Pennsylvania Instructional I you earn online through Drexel University to another state’s teaching license!

    Through interstate reciprocity agreements you are able to convert the Pennsylvania Instructional I teaching certificate you will receive at the conclusion of this program to the analogous teaching certificate in another state, and teach anywhere in the nation.

    Reciprocity is not automatic.

    You will need to find out from your specific state’s Department of Education what criteria will be required of you to complete the transfer. Requirements for transfer vary from state to state but most require at minimum:

    • Transcripts from Drexel University's teacher certification program.
    • Proof of your Pennsylvania Instructional I teaching certificate.
