WHAT'S NEW
Student Testimonials:

“I’ve found my classes in this degree to be relevant, helpful in my current job, and packed full of information I’ll need for a variety of library work. I have had a high level of satisfaction with the classes I’ve taken through Drexel and the quality of interaction with professors and fellow students.”

- Ann Coster

“Through Drexel University Online, I was able to accomplish my lifelong dream of becoming a librarian. While there were programs a few hours away, they did not offer the intellectual challenges or freedom from classroom time constraints that Drexel’s program does.”

-Yadira Payne

Admission Requirements

In addition to any general admission requirements for your specific Drexel college of choice, if you have not received a degree in the United States, you must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and have an official score report sent directly from Educational Testing Service (ETS) to Drexel University before your file will be evaluated. Your TOEFL scores must be less than two years old to be considered. A TOEFL score of at least 550 is required to be considered for admission, some programs require a higher score (Please see chart below).

Information regarding the TOEFL can be obtained by contacting Educational Testing Service, Princeton, NJ 08541, 609-921-9000, or 609-771-7100, www.toefl.org.

Sending Transcripts

Along with your application, you must enclose official transcripts (mark sheets and degree certificates) in your native language and in English from all colleges and graduate/professional schools that you attended. Do not send transcripts from secondary schools. If your school issues only one transcript for life, you may send a notarized photocopy, bearing the seal on each page. These transcripts will be considered for GRE waivers, year equivalency and grade point averages though the iSchool Graduate Admissions office. If satisfactory translation is not possible, then the WES course-by-course evaluation will be required by the iSchool Graduate Admissions Office and made known to the applicant through a status email.

Applicants are responsible for contacting World Education Service, Inc. (WES) for evaluation of transcripts and are responsible for supplying all necessary documentation.
