    Overview

    Drexel’s accredited online Certificate in Advanced Practice in Pediatric Rehabilitation provides physical therapists and occupational therapists with advanced specialization in multiple facets of pediatric rehabilitation, including early intervention, school-based practice, or other pediatric services in a professional learning community. Practitioners will learn to enhance their comprehension of family and client-centered practice in diverse settings.

    Admissions Criteria

    • A bachelor's degree in any field 
      • A current U.S. OT or PT license

      Required Documents

      • A completed application
      • Official transcripts from all universities or colleges and other post-secondary educational institutions (including trade schools) attended
      • Two letters of recommendation
        • These letters should outline your personal qualities as a clinician and insight into your academic abilities, and come from co-workers including OT's, PT's, physicians, or other healthcare professionals.
        • Letters from supervisors or academic faculty are highly encouraged.
      • One-page essay expressing why you want to enroll in the program
      • Resume
      • A copy of current U.S. OT or PT license with a visible expiration date
      • Additional requirements for International Students

      Tuition

      The tuition rate for the academic year 2015-2016 is $556 per credit.

      This rate applies only to new online matriculated students. Students receiving special tuition plans with Drexel Online may not combine them with other tuition benefits that may be available from Drexel University.

      This program is not currently eligible for Federal Financial Aid, however, we offer tuition reduction through our network of partner companies and organizations, and for Drexel University alumni and those in the military.
