Admissions Criteria
- A baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing from a National League of Nursing (NLN)-accredited program with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a scale of 4.0. Applications from R.N.s who hold a non-nursing baccalaureate degree are considered on an individual basis.
- A copy of your RN license or eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse. License verification from your nursing license registry website is acceptable.
- Official transcripts from all universities or colleges and other post-secondary educational institutions (including trade schools) attended. You must supply transcripts regardless of the number of credits earned or the type of school you attended. If you do not list all post-secondary institutions on your application and these are listed on transcripts received from other institutions, processing of your application will be delayed until you have submitted the remaining transcripts. - Current Resume.
- Two professional letters of recommendation that speak to your creative, innovative attitude and/or skills.
- Personal statement ((length: 800 to 1600 words) that will give the admissions committee a better understanding of:
- Why you are choosing this particular program of study
- As a student in Innovation and Intra/entrepreneurship nursing program of study, specifically what is the intra/entrepreneur idea or business that you are interested in pursuing
- Your plans upon completion of the graduate degree
- International Applicants (as well as Immigrants to the U.S. and U.S. Permanent Residents whose native language is not English, and who have not received a Bachelor's degree or higher in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand or the United Kingdom) must submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the Test of Spoken English (TSE). A minimum score of 550 is required for the paper test and 213 for the Computer Based TOEFL Test. A minimum score of 55 is required for the TSE.
