The first MSN degree of its kind in the nation
The online MSN in Innovation and Intra/Entrepreneurship in Advanced Nursing Practice is designed for the graduate nursing student who seeks to re-invent and innovate in nursing practice in a variety of roles, as clinician, educator, administrator, clinical scientist or in the business environment of healthcare. We hope to attract a varied group of students who have a commitment to radically change healthcare systems. This individual could choose to complete a Master’s degree, a post-master’s certificate or a post-baccalaureate certificate in innovation. Whatever the career goals, the student could complete their education online.
It is designed to emphasize entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial approaches to advanced nursing practice. This MSN track offers maximal curriculum flexibility and includes the designing of a substantive capstone project that demonstrates innovation and the extension of the creative boundaries in nursing education, nursing administration, or nursing practice.
This MSN track focus on models, methods, environments, and processes that will help you do your part in redesigning and improving our healthcare system. After a course in the theoretical and applied underpinnings of disruptive innovations and breakthroughs in healthcare, we will use a case-study model to examine the best and failed innovations in nursing. This program is for the highly disciplined, independently thinking graduate nursing student whose career objectives may not be met by a more traditional graduate nursing curriculum. The ultimate aim of this ground-breaking degree is to graduate forward thinking nurses who may make unique contributions to nursing and healthcare.
Key Features and Benefits:
This is a 46 credit graduate program with one innovative capstone project. It is designed for part-time attendance by working nurses.

Post Master's Certificate: This MSN program is available as a Post-Master's Certificate for individuals that hold an MSN degree and would like to gain further knowledge in other areas of nursing. Applicants are evaluated on an individual portfolio review and must complete the master's application package for eligibility for admission. For further information, click here.
