The online MSN in Innovation and Intra/Entrepreneurship in Advanced Nursing Practice is designed for the graduate nursing student who seeks to re-invent and transform the nursing practice in today's tumultuous health care system. Graduates of this program fill innovative and problem-solving roles as clinicians, educators, administrators and clinical scientists; some students choose to move toward and succeed in the business environment of healthcare.
This pioneering master's degree emphasizes entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial approaches to advanced nursing practices and focuses on models, methods, environments and processes that will give students the tools to redesign and improve healthcare systems big and small. It offers a flexible, but rigorous, curriculum, including a substantial capstone project that demonstrates innovation and pushing the creative boundaries in nursing practice.
This is an exclusive program for highly-disciplined and independent-thinking graduate nursing students whose career objectives may not be met by a traditional graduate nursing curriculum or career. The ultimate aim of this groundbreaking degree is to graduate creative and inventive nurses who can make meaningful and unique contributions to the healthcare industry.
The Innovation and Intra/Entrepreneurship MSN program is also available as a post-master's certificate for individuals who already hold an MSN degree and would like to gain further knowledge in other areas of nursing. Applicants are evaluated on an individual portfolio review and must complete the graduate nursing application package to be eligible for admission. For further information, click here. A post-bachelor's certificate is also available online.
