Admissions Criteria

Admissions criteria to the certificate program:

  • Complete application form.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the US or an equivalent international institution.
  • A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
  • Official transcripts from all universities or colleges and other post-secondary educational institutions (including trade schools) attended or where coursework was attempted or taken.  If you do not list all post-secondary institutions on your application and these are listed on transcripts received from other institutions, processing of your application will be delayed until you have submitted the remaining transcripts.   • Current resume.
  • A Self-Assessment Essay to include:
  1. Discuss personal goals, conditions, or career aspirations that motivate you to pursue graduate study at Drexel University College of Medicine.
  2. Describe your most important accomplishments.
  3. Discuss what you expect to achieve through this program. 
  • Two letters of recommendation (one from your immediate supervisor and one from another qualified individual who can comment on your ability to succeed in your chosen program yet is not a peer).  Letters of recommendation must be original, signed letters and must be submitted in a sealed envelope signed across the flap by the recommender.
  • International Applicants (as well as Immigrants to the U.S. and U.S. Permanent Residents whose native language is not English, and who have not received a Bachelor's degree or higher in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand or the United Kingdom) must submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).  A minimum score of 550 is required for the paper-based TOEFL test and 90 for the internet-based TOEFL Test.

To apply for the M.S. in Clinical Research Organization and Management, upon the successful completion from the certificate program, students must:

  • Receive a minimum of a B in each completed certificate course.
  • Complete the Master's in Clinical Research Organization and Management graduate program application with applicable fee.
  • Take the Miller Analogies test
