Administrator Certification

Principal's Certification Program 

This program qualifies participants for state certification as school principals and provides a pathway for continued study in the M.S. in Educational Administration: Collaborative Leadership degree program.

Teaching Certificates (K-12)

Post-Bachelor's Online Teaching Certificate 

This certificate program is designed for individuals who hold a Bachelor’s degree and who seek to qualify for state teacher certification at the elementary or secondary level. Through inter-state agreements, this Pennsylvania-approved teaching credential is also valid for teaching in other states. Students completing the certification program may continue coursework to earn a Master's Degree in Teaching (Master of Science in the Science of Instruction) online. Students intending to teach in PA have the option of obtaining a Graduate Intern Teaching Certificate.

Graduate Intern Teaching Certificate Online- (PA residents only)

This program is identical to our Post-Bachelor's Teaching Certificate, leading to a formal teaching credential which through the inter-state agreement can be applied nationwide. It is designed for career-changers with a Bachelor's in another field, or for those who already serve as temporary, emergency or substitute teachers. The extra feature of this program is that completion of only two courses leads to an Intern Teacher Certificate issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. This feature makes it particularly appropriate for those who would like to start teaching in Pennsylvania in only 6 months.

Instructional Technology Certificate Online

Instructional Technology Specialist Certificate 

This graduate program qualifies participants for state certification as Instructional Technology Specialists and provides a pathway for continued study in the MS in the Science of Instruction degree program.

Add-On Certificate for Licensed Teachers

TESL Certificate 

This is an add-on certificate available to students that currently possess a K-12 teaching certificate and want to become instructors of English as a Second Language. Credits earned through this program may be applied toward the MS in the Science of Instruction.
